The tightrope revisited

Was reading 1 Corinthians 15, and verses 33 and 44 “jumped out” at me.

Do not be deceived, “bad company ruins good morals.” Come to your right mind, and sin no more, for some have no knowledge of God, I say this to your shame”.

The Lord then reminded me of a message he gave me July 12 last year, about walking the tightrope. I believe this is what He would say to us now…….

To be relying on that tightrope to keep you above the troubles of this world will be far from wise. The supports holding that rope are about to shift. The rope will become slack, your fall will be immanent, but that you have the assurance of My arms to catch you.

Do not be led astray by false words that deny My truth. Do not allow bad company to shift your God given beliefs into the “too hard” basket of your lives. You must be strong. You must resist the evil one more and more. As I have said before, My Word contains the life you need. It will sustain you and save your soul.

Do not be tempted into slackness by those who are slack. Choose wisely who you keep company with. Seek the company of those who you know walk the path of righteousness and truth. Be wary of those who once walked the good walk, but whose lives no longer reflect it. Pray for them, that they find the way back to truth. If it be in your power to do so, take the truth to them.

Time is ever short My children. Guard your hearts, nourish your souls, exercise your faith, devour My word. Let your light shine.

Stand tall for the Kingdom of God. Honour the Name of the Most High God.”Bring Glory to His Name”, in everything you say and do. Not forgetting love, the power of which cannot be contained. Love one another My Children, love.

10 He who misleads the upright into an evil way will fall into his own pit; but the blameless will have a goodly inheritance.
