I cannot, and will not, forsake you

Too many in these present days are attempting to walk in their own strength, their own wisdom, and their own abilities. This may work for a time, but ultimately it will prove for them to be futile. Situations and circumstances are changing, for some this is occurring at a fast pace. What you once relied on, is no longer there. You forget that I, your God am there, I never change. You forget to come to me, to ask of Me, You forget that you can trust Me.

The world continues to suffer in many ways. Beware of anyone who claims they have a solution to the problems of these days. Powerful forces work in unseen places, they seek to cause pain and mayhem to many, many souls. But I, your God, your Heavenly Father, I am right here. I have not gone to sleep. If you call, I will answer. I will honour your trust in Me, for I cannot, and will not, forsake you.

These of evil intent will lie to you, give you false hope. They seek their own gain and care not who they bring pain to. Trust in the Rock, for you can stand with Me.

Tragic events continue to unfold, day after day. Many cry out for “justice”. But what they desire under the heading of justice, is not justice at all. (I believe that the Lord here, is referring in part, to the push and shove going on in the Australian Parliament at present to have gay marriage recognised). What they desire will lead them into further misery and pain, and a life devoid of true peace.

Those that truly know Me, know that I am the True Peace. I am the stillness in the storms. I am the oasis in the desert. I am your comfort, your healer, your joy. I am your God.

Psalm 107:19-20

19 Then they cried to the LORD in their trouble, and he delivered them from their distress; 20 he sent forth his word, and healed them, and delivered them from destruction.

Psalm 107:28-32

28 Then they cried to the LORD in their trouble, and he delivered them from their distress; 29 he made the storm be still, and the waves of the sea were hushed. 30 Then they were glad because they had quiet, and he brought them to their desired haven. 31 Let them thank the LORD for his steadfast love, for his wonderful works to the sons of men! 32 Let them extol him in the congregation of the people, and praise him in the assembly of the elders.

Isaiah 41:17-18

17 When the poor and needy seek water, and there is none, and their tongue is parched with thirst, I the LORD will answer them, I the God of Israel will not forsake them. 18 I will open rivers on the bare heights, and fountains in the midst of the valleys; I will make the wilderness a pool of water, and the dry land springs of water.

2 Corinthians 1:3-5

3 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort, 4 who comforts us in all our affliction, so that we may be able to comfort those who are in any affliction, with the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God. 5 For as we share abundantly in Christ’s sufferings, so through Christ we share abundantly in comfort too.

Psalm 43:4

4 Then I will go to the altar of God, to God my exceeding joy; and I will praise thee with the lyre, O God, my God.
