You see before your eyes these past days tragedy and change in many parts of the world. Levels of flooding in some countries at unheard of levels. And most recently the demise of a cruel and heartless dictator (Gaddafi). He indeed reaped what he sowed, His is not the first and he will not be the last to be hunted down by those he ruled over with harshness and cruelty.
The people of Libya though, have many a hard time ahead. Their road to freedom has not been easy. There is still hardship before them. To stabilise their government will take much effort and time, and pain. Other countries that are going through similar unrest need to take notice; their problems will not go away.
As I have already said before, unrest will increase. Mob violence will increase. Destruction of property and riots will increase. Evil is ever on its march. The enemy cares not who he uses or what situations he uses, to create mayhem and havoc.
But I, the God of this universe see all things. I see many of My true ones struggling with current events. They ask “why ?”. I say to these ones – keep your eyes on Me. I am your rock. Pray and keep on praying. Pray for the many that still need to find Me, your loved ones, your close friends, those you don’t even know. Pray for their salvation.
There is a sequence of events that has been put in motion, and it cannot be stopped or reversed. Great hardship is upon many at present. More is yet to come. It has been written and so it must be. Judgment day must come. Keep your eyes on Me. Be found in Me.
7 But the LORD sits enthroned for ever, he has established his throne for judgment; 8 and he judges the world with righteousness, he judges the peoples with equity. 9 The LORD is a stronghold for the oppressed, a stronghold in times of trouble. 10 And those who know thy name put their trust in thee, for thou, O LORD, hast not forsaken those who seek thee. 11 Sing praises to the LORD, who dwells in Zion! Tell among the peoples his deeds! 12 For he who avenges blood is mindful of them; he does not forget the cry of the afflicted.
10 Say among the nations, “The LORD reigns! Yea, the world is established, it shall never be moved; he will judge the peoples with equity.” 11 Let the heavens be glad, and let the earth rejoice; let the sea roar, and all that fills it; 12 let the field exult, and everything in it! Then shall all the trees of the wood sing for joy 13 before the LORD, for he comes, for he comes to judge the earth. He will judge the world with righteousness, and the peoples with his truth.
